NORTHERN FLATSCAPE
Location: North     Hazard: High     Size: Large

The flatscape is the northern portion of the territory where the trees begin the thin and the ground levels out. Larger prey such as deer and elk can be found wandering around here, and while that is very useful, it also means that other predators such as coyotes, bears, and mountain lions prowl in this area. This area is often restricted to younger members due the dangers/hugeness making it easy to get hurt or lost.

Zyro Mezzi
Large, golden paws snapped the twigs beneath his weight, quietly announcing Zyro's presence as the trees began to thin the longer he walked. He had only been walking for a little while - fifteen minutes at most - and the familiar path had visibly comforted the Royal. It wasn't that the crowd at the den had made him any more anxious than usual, but getting out and stretching your legs always brought the male peace. He was wonderfully fond of his territory, always had been.

Towering trees gradually became more sparse, the emerald green land flattening out pleasantly. A few fallen trees and snarled roots pierced the light flora scattered about the earth, twisting their way up, up, up, to pierce the fog that had settled over the land. Zyro breathed in the cool moisture in the air, letting his lungs go slack as his pace slowed. Now was the big reveal... who had followed him?

A few names darted around in Zyro's head but he refused to acknowledge them, keeping his mind open. Any expectations ran the threat of damaging Z's slowly growing enthusiasm. Oh, it had been so long since he sank his teeth into something other than a rodent of some sort...

On that thought Zyro spun around, a few pieces of foliage scattering at the movement before he froze, waiting to see who would emerge. Who would be his team for this hunt. The blank expression Zyro had previously doned was now traded in for a lax smile, his mind running away from him a bit. A small pang of his head made him stumble to the side rather ungracefully, but before he even had time to truly process the movement Z was standing straight again, perky as a dog waiting for his bone to be throne. C'mon guys... he urged the group in his mind. He knew how hungry everyone was, and from what he saw yesterday there were a few individuals who shared his motivation - and whether that motivation was selfish or selfless, it no longer mattered. They wouldn't be leaving the Flatscape until a prize was between their muzzles, ready to share with the rest of the...pack. If you could even call it that yet.

- Ceviche

Ceviche bounced along after the Royal, his incessant questions not ceasing since they'd departed the den. "So, have you ever eaten beetles before? They're not very good. I think the last time I had a real meal was when I still lived with my folks, you kno-" He trailed off as he noticed zyro stumble. Was that normal? Now that he thought about it, he did seem to have a rather nasty looking nick on his head. Was it safe for him to continue on to go hunting? "Uh, Are you alright?"

Maybe it would be best if he'd waited on the sidelines? Though there was that he wasn't in too much pain- he was smiling after all. If anyone needed to sit out, it might have been the blondie himself (he thought). His paws were aching from all the physical exertion from the last few days. Chasing Agathor, running through the woods, there was a nap, but then here he was again walking what felt like forever to... where were they again? It was much flatter here than near the den, where the mountain's gentle slope still curved the land on a slight incline. Back at the den the trees were much tighter together too. Here everything seemed to be farther apart... It felt like he was making even less progress than when they left the den initially. At least back then it felt like he was going somewhere. Pass twenty trees? No problem back there. That was done easily in like two minutes maybe. Out here though, It would probably take at least ten minutes.

Somehow remembering the task at hand, he glanced around for Ceara. She'd asked him to go hunting with her today, and he'd promised, so- well, here he was.

Coniferous timbers stood erect, fickle fingers reaching out at all directions and towering over the little wolf. Compared to the den, the growth of the trees was scanty, the land without slopes, and the emerald moss below more rustic, rugged, although there were no complaints--This sight was new to her and charmed her hungry eyes, which were virgin to such land. Indeed, she still had much to explore; she'd yet to lope through the eastern, southern, and northern chunks of the territory as she recently entered the valley from the west, beforehand travelling through snow-capped mountains while late-summer allowed her to. Quite the journey, though it entertained her. Ceara was one canine that proved content.

The cotton-ball of a wolf barreled through the forest, pellucid wisps of condensed breath escaping her lungs and joining the cool air, mingling with the low-hanging and thick fog. Four paws attached to her four stubby limbs engulfed the moss and a white tail skimmed the earth as she ran, catching up to the Blondie and the dominant, who both successfully trailed ahead. Her height, specifically her tiny legs, had such a disadvantage: they had a short and slow stride and often tripped up over each other to boot, although on the other hand, she could travel far due to how little weight her legs carried.

Such legs slowed, pupils capturing the two silhouettes of the wolves ahead. The tail that'd been skimming the moss rose and waggled as she cantered towards the pair eagerly. "Hello!" she barked out in greeting, their features forming clearly as she approached: the welcoming faces of the two were clear, as was Blondie's luscious sandy-colored fur and Zyro's neat agouti and russet coat. The black-coated female had left the den site, as well, but seemingly had yet to arrive. Although she was a newcomer, they were becoming rather familiar to her eyes and she could recognize them in a flash if placed among other canines. "I hope the both of you are feeling well--no, fantastic--this fine day, friends!" Ceara came to a complete halt about a few feet from the others and slunk down to rest her tired, stumpy legs. Her youthful eyes wandered to the dominant, awaiting his guidance, and in the silence she whispered to Blondie: "Hello friend! Are you well? It's indeed a beautiful day.. though not as beautiful as any venison steak may be..." her mind already got a little sidetracked by the thoughts of a meal and was already salivating "Wouldn't you agree?" the head tilted gently, joined with her pink tongue lolled out in a wide, open smile once more, saliva dribbling from it and her tail continuing to waggle all the while.

Northern Flatscape Empty Re: Northern Flatscape

Post by Guest Sat Aug 20, 2016 2:30 pm

Through the deciduous trees, ambling upon the mist, a crimson streaked she-wolf could be seen.  Neveya had been wandering for countless hours and countless days, searching for a place of her own to reside-- a sanctuary if you will.  The insensitive fae hailed from the far North, a place where only trepidation and desolation could be found.  A place where imprudence was rewarded in the mind, and foolish emotions brought downfall upon you.  If you were perspicacious, you would survive.  If you were ingenious... you would eventually learn what it felt like to lose everything you love.  You would have no choice but to retreat so far into yourself that there was no going back.  That was what Neveya felt presently as she lightly strode over fallen branches, her brown optics sweeping the area, searching for potential peril.

The crimson, gray, black, and white fae came to a pause at a small incline.  The forest she had found herself walking through seemed to be endless.  A ridiculous and contemptible thought, of course.  Neveya would just have to trek far enough south, she told herself.  Gray fog swirled around her paws, maddening her to no end.  That was all this forest seemed to offer, it's endless land of scarceness.  Looking to the sky wasn't much help either; Nev could see that the atmosphere was clouded over in an identical gray that matched the fog at her paws.  Still, the crimson streaked fae continued on, passing the time by strategizing attack moves in case she was besieged by hostiles in this territory.  Neveya couldn't be sure if anyone even existed here, and she didn't exactly care either way.  Her goal was to get out of the damn forest, first.  Or find a place to rest for awhile, whichever came first.

Soon enough, Neveya found herself looking out a flat, barren ground.  She was fairly certain she'd been heading South, but it was possible that she'd gotten turned around.  Her audits picked up the snap of a branch behind herself, and the brown-eyed female whipped around, baring her teeth and raising her tail.  Her fur was bristled-- she was ready for a fight.  Instead, a small chipmunk came scampering out of the foliage, obviously terrorized.  It disappeared up into a tree, sending small noises of dismay after Nev.  Rolling her optics, Neveya turned and stepped into empty space.  Tumbling down the hill she'd been previously standing on, Nev grunted as she hit hard at the bottom, her cranium smacking on a nearby rock.  Stumbling to her paws, Neveya would survey the area with accusing eyes.  She just happened to be standing on the only hill in this flat wasteland-- the rest of the territory was smooth.  Her bad luck put her in a just as bad mood, as the crimson, gray, white, and black fae looked down to see a cut along her foreleg.  Not to mention her head, which was throbbing irritably.  "Damn it."  She muttered, shaking her pelt out.

As Neveya stumbled through the forest, teetering on the brink of falling over, she heard a slight noise far off to her left.  Perking her audits, Neveya cautiously headed towards the noise, attempting to keep her leg from bleeding more, while staying in the shadows.  From a short distance away, she caught sight of a small group of four wolves strong, two females and two males, it looked like.  Shit.  What was she going to do?  Never in a million years would Neveya appear to those idiots willingly, but she wasn't about to run away either, bless her recalcitrant soul.  Nev was about to retreat and find something to bind her foreleg, when her hind leg struck a branch, emitting a loud crack.  "Goddamm."  Neveya hissed, holding her breath in hopes that the nearby group hadn't heard.

Post by Vorocia Sat Aug 20, 2016 3:34 pm

The crunch of undergrowth snapping preceded Vorocia's arrive into the Flatscape. She emerged from a set of thick brambles, cursing to herself as she struggled and wriggled until she was finally free. She'd followed Zyro's scent from the den, and as she scanned the area, she saw that a few others had already arrived as well. Vorocia felt her excitement building again as she looked around this strange new part of Graywood's territory. She could already envision fresh meat hanging from her jaws, flooding her mouth with flavor, blood streaming down her muzzle...

Her daydream was interrupted when a large crack echoed around the clearing. Vorocia whirled, hackles raised, paws flexing against the ground. Her eyes scanned the undergrowth rapidly. She wasn't sure if any of her other packmates had heard- she didn't turn around to find out. Vorocia began to pad carefully towards the area where she'd heard the sound- then, she caught a glimpse of crimson fur and she was hit with the smell of wolf. A stranger.

Hackles still bared, spine now arced in a defensive position, Vorocia stood her ground. She couldn't say she was all that surprised yet another stranger had shown up- Graywood seemed to attract them like bees to honey. Still, a part of her was weary. "Come out," she barked, eyes boring into the undergrowth. She hoped Zyro or one of the others heard and came to deal with this. Vorocia didn't feel like playing welcoming committee.

Zyro Mezzi
Zyro knew this place like the back of his paw. He was familiar with every tree and every stone, so why in the world was he suddenly feeling so confused. Since when did the tree trunks wiggle in that fashion? And was the grass always this pink? His head was pounding a look of utter confusion was plastered on the Royal's face. The dull brown if his iris' were a mere sliver of color around his dilated pupils. Man, did he have a headache...

"Uh, Are you alright?" Zyro cackled loudly and suddenly at the question. Could Ceviche not see how stellar he was? Zyro felt like he was glowing, walking on a million fluffy clouds of bliss. "Ceviche, mah man. I am 100,000% extraordinary never felt better since I was out the wOMB!" he slurred, tilting again to the side only to properly fall down this time, his golden pelt immediately dirtied by the muddy ground beneath him. He didn't stay down for long, hopping back up in a flash with a pup-like enthusiasm that was horribly out of character. Sounds of paws teps rang out in-between the trees as two more shapes came into view: Ceara, saying words that Zyro didn't recognize as English and then Rei-wait. No. No, not Rei. A white-hot flash of pain scalded Zyro's brain and he winced, lowering his head as his thoughts were scrambled. Rei was gone. Long, long gone. And that was Vorocia, the shocks of ivory against her black pelt shining painfully in Zyro's eyes. Something ugly and familiar was twisting in the lad's gut but at least it cleared his head a bit. Z glanced around him, taking in his bearing with a much more focused gaze and eventually his brain caught up to the real world. The tingle of a blush was creeping up his neck under the thick coats of his fur and an apology for his ridiculous behavior was on the tip of his tongue. The last thing he needed was his newest pack member's thinking him a fool, but the strength Zyro had been using to push against the pain of his fresh wound was slowly dwindling. A visit to the medic's den was now at the top of his list.

"What?" Zyro heard himself say dumbly. He almost didn't catch the snap of a twig, Vorocia (not Rei) swirling at the noise and immediately taking up a defensive posture. Zyro was at her side in a flash out of pure instinct, catching sight of the crimson shock of fur that stood out like a sore thumb in the dull gray fog, turning ever so slightly to hide Ceviche and Ceara's form's from view and raising his tail in a display that was hard to misinterpret. "Come out," he registered the Spear next to him saying, all the noises and sights around him suddenly crisp and clear. A vast change from a few minutes ago when he was stumbling around in a hazy dreamland. He threw a glance at Vorocia, a miniscule twitch of his nose and blink of his eyes to let her know that he would handle this. She didn't seem to be in the mood, which Z could respect, but the last thing he needed was tension. If this was gonna go smoothly then... well, needless to say Zyro was well practiced in the art of making welcome-speeches.

"'Ello there, miss," the tenor of his voice cut through the fog like a knife, directed solely at the multicolored newblood stood on the raised piece of land. "What brings you to our neck of the woods?"

The question was relatively open-ended, giving the stranger plenty of outs if she wanted to leave. Zyro, especially upon first meeting him, was nothing if not poilite, and he could only hope his semi-false calm would get them all through this interaction smoothly. Hell, it had the first dozen times. Something about the wolf standing a few meters away from his group told him that she was not exactly pleased to be spotted, and though he had gathered a solid respect for Vorocia in the very short amount of time they knew each other, he couldn't help but curse her silently for potentially feeding the flames with her quick-fire bark of an introduction. He only lifted the curse because, though her stance was defensive at most and was quite possibly a gut-reaction, he appreciated the gusto. She reminded him of Renegade in the moment, both a bit more fiery than many of the others he met yesterday, and both making it clear that Zyro will have his paws full from now on. Them damn rebel-types. Plus, she was shielding Ceviche and Ceara alongside Z, and maybe it was unintentional but he'd take the false sense of loyalty any day.

With a silent grunt the Royal refocused. His tail was still high but there was a curious expression painted on his features. The crimson wolf was slight in frame and hadn't made any threatening moves yet... maybe if he played his cards right Zyro could lasso her into Graywood as well. He was hungry for more members, and the recent influx in numbers had only given him a taste of what satisfaction he felt upon a successful recruitment. Either way the conversation went he was silently eager, though the low rumble of his stomach was quick to give away that secret.

Northern Flatscape Scarecrowthreadstarter2

Trees towered overhead, their branches swaying in the gentle autumn breeze. The air pleasantly ruffled the black fur of the large timber wolf that trotted slowly with outstretched movements; making his flow look purposeful. His body showed grace and balance as he weaved around the shallow lining of trees, large paws careful to avoid creating much noise. Although, the action provided tedious, thanks to the countless sticks laying across the mossy overgrowth. Crow finally settled on giving up, allowing his massive paws to break and snap the numerous sticks laying helpless within his path. Blue orbs glanced towards the direction his pack mates traveled, watching as the excited mass of white fur bounded and stumbled across the grounds awake; obviously excited to get to her destination. He watched her become further and further away from him, the act made him nervous; nervous for what could possibly be wondering around these unknown lands. While he was sure the fae could handle herself, Crow knew he’d never forgive himself if the possibly came to where she couldn’t. With a huff of breath, the timber wolf commanded his legs to pick up speed. With surprisingly little effort, his gait shifted from the leisure trot to a powerful gallop.

With ease, Crow was able to keep pace the cotton-ball she-wolf. Their travel wasn’t long, maybe a sturdy fifteen minutes, until they hit a clearing with the three other wolves. Zyro, the young flaxen male, and a black and white she-wolf. Crow watched as Ceara came to a halt near their pack mates, yet he decided to stay by the post where they had entered. He hadn’t even had time to rest when a loud crack resounded through the area, was it just him or did the sound seem to echo? His black head swiveled towards the sound, an unconscious growl erupted from his throat as his lips curled in a sneer. Swiftly, he moved towards the sound just as the black and white fae barked out a command. Crow came to stand by her a few seconds after Zyro had. The black male felt his hackles rise as he stared at the offending brush that held a possible threat.

It was Zyro’s voice that snapped Crow from his low growling, mostly out of respect for the alpha to speak without background noise. He kept his defensive stance as he eyed forage. Crow sniffed at the air, his body shifting when he got a whiff of a familiar iron smell, blood. Intently, his legs moved him a couple spaces forward as his large head tilted. "'Ello there, miss, what brings you to our neck of the woods?" Azure eyes turned towards Zyro than back to the bush, “I believe she’s hurt,” he commented before turning his attention back to where the stranger may or may not still reside.

Northern Flatscape Empty Re: Northern Flatscape

Post by Guest Wed Aug 24, 2016 11:59 am

The crimson streaked fae had contemplated running away, but what use would that do?  She was no dramatic juvenile, and she would have to face her fate eventually.  Besides, how far could she get?  What seemed like an entire pack was growing in numbers as one by one, wolves began to appear in her brown gaze.  The first to notice her vacuous appearance was a female around her age, dappled in white and black.   "Come out,"  The female barked at Neveya.  Baring her teeth in defense and raising her tail to show that she was no weakling, the black, gray, crimson, and white fae came out of the shadows, immediately regretting her decision.  She quietly growled in response.  She was in no mood to be observed by insolents.

Neveya took the time to observe the small group of canines that had gathered, in order to assess which ones she could take out the easiest, and which ones might be more of a threat to a clean getaway.  In the front was a larger male, colored in auburn and tans, who seemed to be the head of all this chaos.  Next to him stood the black and white female, who didn't look very threatening to Neveya herself.  A completely black male resided beside the black and white fae, who worried Nev most of all.  He looked as if he may be a warrior.  Nothing Nev couldn't handle quickly, but she was already hurt.  It would come to be a messy fight if one emerged.  Farther back, a cream hued female with orange eyes stood by a male wolf pigmented in whites and chestnuts.  Overall it was sort of an odd group, but Neveya didn't doubt that she looked strange to them as well, with her odd colored fur... not to mention her attitude.

The leader-like male was the first to speak.  Nev had seen him acting odd before, and wondered if he was just a madman in general.  "'Ello there, miss,"  He said, making Nev raise an eyebrow at him.  She was certainly no 'miss'.  "What brings you to our neck of the woods?"  Neveya shifted, lowering her tail just slightly.  "Nothing except my own foolishness, it seems."  She replied coolly.  "The naive hope of finding shelter, I suppose."  She muttered after it.  Neveya was a proud wolf-- she didn't like to ask for help nor for favors.  This situation couldn't get any more uncomfortable for her.  Alas, she didn't even know if these ignorant canines were hostile.  Perhaps they were toying with her, putting on an act of sorts with more insidious plans.  Years of betrayal and cruelty led Neveya to be cautious, no matter what the scenario.

Nev wasn't sure if these wolves even belonged to a pack, or if they were simply a rogue group of survivors.  She couldn't help but glare at each individual with cool dislike, even though they had done nothing to her.  It was better not to get attached.  Neveya had no idea where she was headed, despite the multicolored leader-like male's previous inquiry.  He seemed to have obvious reign over the other lupines.  Anywhere but where she had hailed from the North would be fine by her.  Nev wasn't one to stay in places long, and she was certain that she would be out of this... unnerving territory within a fortnight.  The strangest sense of attachment was pulling at the fae, but she pushed risible and farcical thoughts out of her mind.

A new voice rang out in the silence, the tougher looking dark male who was most certainly a warrior.  Speaking nonsense about her being injured.  "I'm nothing of the sort.  It's just a simple scratch."  She replied shortly, locking eyes with the male and scowling.  She didn't need pity nor help: she could manage herself just fine.  Averting her brown optics, Nev would observe her cut.  It had stopped bleeding-- it wasn't even serious.  Like she had said, nothing more than a scratch.  Besides, Neveya had survived on her own for this long, what was preventing her from lasting a little longer?

I meant to post this last night but got busy with JV tennis ~

Post by Nova Thu Aug 25, 2016 2:07 am

Nova trotted excitedly a bit behind the others. She wondered what kind of prey they'd hunt today, how they'd catch it, when they'd eat it, how it'd taste as the burst of bloody flavor hit her tongue. From where she was, the little female could hear Zyro's slight slur of his words, Vorocia's funny remarks, and Ceara and Cev. She liked those two. She also noticed the new male that had shown up recently. Nova's head was in the clouds as she kept walking, almost bumping into Vorocia's tense form. She tilted her head in confusion, they were the hunting party but why was everyone so tense? She looked at each member individually until what Zyro said caught her attention.
"What brings you to our neck of the woods?"
She tilted her head at her leaders words and looked forward catching sight of an unknown female. Everything began to register as she realized why everyone but Zyro was tense. She shook her head, reminding herself of his injury. Maybe a hunt wouldnt be such a good idea. Nova noticed the female eyeing them and narrowed her eyes. Perhaps this wolf hadn't come onto their territory in peace. The looks she gave off weren't exactly friendly. What was Nova supposed to think?
"Nothing except my own foolishness it seems." was the females response to Zyro's question.
Nova almost giggled. Immediately her mood turned upside down from defensive to happiness. 'It seems we have another fiesty one in our midst. This pack sure does have interesting wolves.'. She couldn't imagine Ceara's happy self mixing with this female or Vorocia. Maybe even bringing out some laughter from the grumpy girls. That thought was tempting Nova to do that herself. It suddenly became a personal goal to make her serious pack mates smile.

Northern Flatscape Empty Re: Northern Flatscape

Post by Ceara Thu Aug 25, 2016 11:07 am

Within a blink, there was a sudden orchestra of activity and all eyes were upon an unaffiliated being. No longer was food in the forefront of their minds, it seemed, and the little wolf stifled a sigh. Indeed, to continue a life with a cold, bare basement of a stomach was untoward, but on the bright side, the loner was a possible to-be friend. Her tail behind her didn't come to a complete stop and instead slowed, slowed to a pace of gentle, curious contentment. Simultaneously, her head became lax and tilted to the side in wonderment, gingerly and quietly stepping forward and craning her neck to peek past Zyro, who had blocked the stranger from her view.  The wolf was one of interest, a coat of reds and whites and blacks, like nothing she'd ever seen--Ceara reckoned she looked hardly real. The canvas upon which colors existed looked soft to the touch and rather kempt--if not slightly scruffy at some points as a result of her tumble. The wolf hardly intimidated Ceara, as she was taller by only a small amount and appeared lean and petite, like herself, and as well, her almond-shaped eyes seemed particularly cute and within them lay a most welcoming sorrel. Her energetic, open-smile closed and rather became an inconspicuous, albeit still pleased and curious curve-up of the mouth.

"Hello, friends." the she-wolf whispered under her breath as more arrived, specifically Crow and Nova, glancing towards them, her eyes lit with brief glee. More of the pack were making their belated appearances to the party, seemingly taking their own turn at examining the stranger. The wolf revealed herself have an attitude, unbefitting for her petite frame, although Ceara recalled the age-old saying aloud: "Big things come in small packages, do they not?" Ceara's eyes wandered towards those little almonds which resided in the stranger's face as an unspoken greeting, amber raising to meet mahogany. Delicate paws again stepped a few forward in curiosity, moss succumbing, weak, before her light weight as more of the wolf came into view. A frown rest upon the loner's agitated face--why? The meeting of wolves should be most delightful, and commonplace, it was. Ceara was a keener, though, and quickly dismissed the attitude of the wolf. The social air surrounding seemed tense and quiet, although Ceara didn't realize that.

Zyro Mezzi

Zyro watched with a forced neutral expression as the oddly palleted female before him sized up his pack mates. The foggy atmosphere was beginning to feel a bit suffocating, and really all Z wanted to do was turn tail back to the den for a nap - albeit he had woken up maybe an hour ago - but now a wedge had been crammed into his plans for a speedy hunt and swift return. A defensive, snappy, red colored wedge.

Out of the corner of his eye the brownish male spotted first Crow and then Nova joining the group, but didn't see what they were doing due to the stare he had planted on their guest. He nearly jumped out of his skin when Crow finally broke the silence, bringing to his attention the gash that marred the stranger's foreleg, but  didn't have time to react or ask any further questions. His golden ears perked as the stranger spoke, the word "foolishness" standing out to Zyro. Was it truly the act of a fool for one to be seeking survival, like she had said? And based on her reaction to seeing them, it was clear she wasn't exactly seeking company. Though elsewhere it would have been considered an idiot's mistake to be caught blindsided, but in Graywood even more familiar creatures like Zyro still got some surprises from time to time. The fog and trees and unrelenting scent of rain were all masters at keeping secrets. It was near impossible to tell what lay around the corner, but she didn't know any better, and Zyro wasn't about to correct her. Everyone in the group were fools in a way, as well. A bunch of foolish loners who followed a foolish Royal to do the foolish task of hunting while still being near-strangers. Yeah, relatively she was probably a genius of sorts. And wow, did his head hurt after thinking all of that.

Zyro's stance begun to relax as the female's tail lowered itself, even as she snapped at Crow. He grunted in reply to her coolness towards him, but again didn't make a comment and instead settled for taking a step forward away from Re-VOROCIA, silently asking to have the attention on him. It was clear that this was a personality trait of hers and not just a mood, but having her be snappy towards anyone but himself rubbed his fur the wrong way. "Well, you're in luck regardless. I'm Zyro, and this is, well, a portion of my pack," he resisted the smug smile the threatened to creep up on his face. A portion. Before yesterday there were enough members to be considered bite-sized in full, but now he had portions. But not of food, which sucked. "We were just about to hunt a lil' somethin' to bring back to the den, which is a rather fine shelter if you ask me."

Zyro waited a few moments, ears flicking back as Ceara shuffled about and mumbled a few words. His weight shifted from left to right and in a quick moment of certainty, Z made a decision. "Anywho, we need to get moving. If you're headed south, go straight till you hit the river. Once you cross, you're practically out of the Graywood. If not, you are more than welcome to join us, or wait for the hunt to end so I can show you back to the den. Your choice." His shrug was punctuated by a frustrated growl of his stomach, his vision going white in a moment of pain at the unexpected sound, as quiet as it was. He spared a few blinks before training his chocolaty gaze back on the female. He didn't even know her name, but the formality of asking for it was drowned out by the craving to hunt and the ever-growing headache he was nurturing. Brume and Lang should be expecting a visit as soon as he got back, no doubt.

Paws moving, ears swiveling and tail thudding against the sharp morning breeze could be observed as Kamaal made her way through the open land. Moisture could be felt in the air, the ground was wet and filled with a thick layer of grass and moss--ideal for any smaller prey like mice and the ocassional visitor, the squirrel.

Inky claws kept piercing the mud and few to non-existent puddles of water on each landing, she wasn't going to waste any time fooling around. Time was a gift in her eyes--she had to use it wisely or if she didn't, something else would force her to lose her course. Enough of that, there was no need in filling her mind with idiotic words formed to construct mere sentences, that the plain mind often sought. Moving on was what she had to focus on as of her current state. Hunger and partial exhaustion had kept their promise and done their job correctly--crushing her physically with ease.

If it wasn't for her mental stability she would've ended up in a pit, an endless pit filled with all kinds of dread and psychotic thoughts, but... such thing wasn't likely, her mind was set in place. Its feet were holding it on the ground steadily, strongly if you may.

A sudden abrupt halt signaled her eyes of cognac sensations to zero in, far away in the distance. A whiff of air had alerted her of another presence. Probably multiple presences judging from the complexity and density of the scent; bitter, sour and sweet. Canines--other individuals as someone with a tie and a degree on his hands would presumably say. A sign of civilization, life. "Like no-one had nothing better to do." a parched mumble could be observed reaching its claws on the outside world, eager, eager to free itself from the boundaries of Kamaal's jowls. The stiffened flinching of her tail was what followed her barely audible comment, much like to emphasize what she wasn't willing to shout out loud.

The potent perfume, more correctly aroma if she may wished to correct herself, of herbivores was a tempting price; food, grub, call it as you please, it was there, her opportunity to fill the hole that had been created in her stomach of fading cinnamon and beige. However... she couldn't just barge in like the common madman you'd see in a cheap Hollywood horror movie. Idiots, both them who created and published such a disastrous piece of visual entertainment and those who decided to burst in in a group of total strangers.

With a shake to her head, she proceeded in setting her rump down near a crooked tree whose branches were covering her silhouette nicely. Observing should do for now, after all this group of alien faces had caught nothing but thin air, it would be pointless to make a fuss by stating her presence and basically showing her sarcastic little ass, as the less polite would claim.

Zyro Mezzi
Zyro watched with an incredulous stare, mouth gaping open as the reddish female ran far, far away. So far it had been his first outright rejection, but he'd dwell on it later. "Right! Where were we... a hunt?" he blurted, trying to reignite the initial excitement within the hunting party. A bunch of tense, bummed out wolves would be lucky to catch even a single rabbit.

He turned on his heel, spinning so he was facing Ceara and Ceviche, who were previously further behind him than Nova, Vorocia, and Crow. With a furious pounding in his skull and a very out-of-character grin plastered on his face, Zyro wove his way out of the group's mass and trotted off further into the wood, body swerving slightly from the usual clumsiness and the added distortion caused by his injury. He almost completely missed the black figure nearby, not noticing the female wolf until he was a few yards away and facing her front on.

Now, Vorocia might have triggered Zyro's memory of Rei, but god if this female wasn't an even closer likeness. Inky black pelt and iris' the color of pumpkin. He stared for a few moments, wide eyed and completely dazed. Maybe he was actually going insane? Had hit his head harder than he'd initially thoughts. Zyro glanced behind him at the others, waiting silently for some sort of confirmation that he wasn't seeing things, but flashing the female a kind, if not confused, smile. At this rate, with Z losing his mind and loners the colors of blood and soot popping up every which way, they were never going to catch a meal. He wasn't sure if he should laugh or cry. What a joke.

Ah at last, she had started to wonder when someone would be kind enough to notice her presence. A male, an auburn and agouti colored male that was "You know, I do not wish to be rude, but the road to the madhouse is that way." With a flinch to her notched ear Kamaal pointed to the right, a smug smirk taking over her facial features. The whole experience had been quite amusing, it was one of the most amusing encounters she had gotten herself into lately, if she may so add.

With a thud to her tail she sprung upwards, paws equipped with claws of black steel touching the flattened out land as she started to cycle the larger individual "It'd be impolite of me if I stayed hidden in the shadows, wouldn't you agree?" A hint of sarcasm was obvious, she hadn't been the most polite in the beginning, why would she change that now?

Caution, ah yes where did this word lie in her head? Trust me it was there, it was there that was certain. She knew how to handle her ropes and judging from the male's difficult position and a completely tangled pack it would've been unlikely that any scathing would occur at all.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, it'd be a same if I did." Testing him, yes, testing him and his patience that was what she was doing. Bouncing against the strings of thin fabric he had exposed for the public to see.

He'd been in pretty much a daze exploring the intricate patterns of fallen leaves until he noticed the elder male began to march off.Ceviche bounded after Zyro, yapping away with another set of words that seemed to have no end in sight. "Captain, are you sure you're okay? Because, if you're not- I mean we can go catch some food and th-" He was cut sort when the royal stopped suddenly,  causing the honey pelted youngin to crash into him. He certainly wasn't paying attention to anything going on really. He moved to poke at the side of Zyro's face with hs paw, but stopped himself as he remembered the wise words that the old man had given him. Hm, though it seemed that Agathor hadn't chosen to follow along to catch any food. What a shame.

"O-oh!" He perked up a bit when he noticed what had caused Zyro to stop in the first place. She seemed... what was the word for it? Supercilious. Cevi's ears folded back instinctively and his tail hung low as he half hid behind the alpha. Her ear was about torn off, so she had to know how to fight... and she was mocking Zyro. He could hear it in her voice. She was up to something. "Leave him alone." He muttered from behind the older male, not wanting to directly engage the newcomer, but still wanting to offer his moral aid to the leader.

cev is back :') + im so sorry ceara is acting hella annoying to kamaal lmao dont hesitate to sass her

C E A R A
---
Bizarre, curious eyes lapped at those of the royal--He seemed off, his body sway like a mouse drunk on nutmeg and his steps were misplaced. She knew little of the male as of yet and she'd not yet spent even 24 hours there, though suspicion continued to try and pick at her. Wonderment swept her worries off her feet, however, upon the arrival of another. A cimmerian she-wolf, both in appearance and seemingly personality, was present. Her body was little and dark, patchy in color as lighter cinnamons blended in, underneath her fur lay hardly visible and intermittent scars, too. Her eyes were beautiful, reminiscent of two little pumpkins nestled in a skull. By no means was she aggressive--Her greeting was not bold, not threatening, nor did she initiate the interaction. Instead, she seemed cool and collected, if not a little cross as her words intermingled with a sprinkle of sarcasm.

She looked to Zyro, who continued to shield the group, and then to Blondie, who seemed concerned, muttering a few words in defense of the alpha. Worry flickered upon her face for a moment, but tail wagging, happiness persisted as she tried to comfort her perturbed pals: "Don't worry, friends," whispered the wee bab gently, shuffling closer to Blondie and Zyro before leaning in and continuing to chatter under her breath, "she's pretty much Agathor's mini-me--She looks just like him! Just think of harmless ol' gramps when you look at her!" The observation was not untrue, as, on second thought, she looked just like him, save for how she did not possess his grandiose body and multi-colored eyes. Her coat was inky and littered with scars, just as Agathor was, and her eyes were a vivid orange, reminiscent of the older friend. Eerily, they seemed to possess the same face, nearly the same features carved out in the strangers, albeit a little more feminine and youthful. Where was Agathor, anyways? Probably sleeping. Ceara reassured herself, thinking happily of the female's lookalike.

Her eyes wandered from the two wolves and back to the stranger, amber eyes, like pools, reflecting her small, thin body. Boldly peeking out a little more from Zyro, more of the wolf came into view and her pupils continued to graze over her, studying her further. Sweeping over her head, Ceara suddenly noticed something peculiar--Her ears! A large portion of one had been missing and the little milky female could see straight to the other side. This was likely a scar of battle or some kind of defect, although Ceara sought a definite answer. Throwing caution to the wind, a giggle escaped her snout and her delicate paws took little movements out further into the clearing, getting all of the wolf into view, her amber eyes contacting the pumpkins of the stranger: "Your ears have broken, wee one!" In fact, perhaps she was deaf? Before receiving a response, she yapped on, raising her voice slightly, making sure the broken ear was taking in her words, "Can you hear me?" Ceara scampered to the side of the broken ear and proceeded to inquire further "What brings you here, friend?" She could have barked out a hundred more questions, though she kept it at that--She wasn't even sure if she heard her questions from that side, yet.

"Leave him alone? I'm not harming your friend, at least not yet. You see I have better things to do than this." Kamaal commented her gaze aflame, zeroing in on the blondie. Judging from his posture and the flattening of his ears he was nothing more but a mere wimp, who burst in just to say a phrase someone would never really recall in the first place. "Now please, if you wish to open your mouth and speak to me there's no shame in coming forward, after all it would be considered rude if you hid behind another, wouldn't it?" She moved her frame closer towards the pale blob of gold, eyes locking with his, waiting for his response with a stiffened upper lip.

Eye contact however, had to be broken promptly as another strange face made its appearance in the group of two. Bubbly she seemed, bubbly and foolish if Kamaal were to criticize her. Silly to no end as she so eagerly, or should she say carelessly made her way nearer. A few whispers could be observed originating from her maw as it parted and closed non-stop, but... what were they about? She could not exactly hear them, only a few of those words were audible to her ears, that way causing a significant gap and a leak of information. It didn't matter anymore, a cackle from the creamy doofus was what forced her cognac colored orbs to roll back on the silhouette. Before even being able to make a move, Kamaal found herself flinching backwards as the milky stranger scampered to her side and shouted in her damaged ear. A toothy snarl was what followed, annoyance starting to build up in her mind quickly over-flooding it. Thudding her tail against the humid air, the inky canine stood on end face to face with the one who planted that painful screech in her eardrums. "I'm not deaf, I could hear you and your idiotic comments since the beginning, when you decided it would be a good idea to join the party. Maybe I'm expecting too much from you, I should've noticed with who I'm dealing with in the first place. My mistake, won't happen again." A pair of extravagant cognac orbs were now staring down the other female, bleak cold releasing itself from the chains it was once bound to.

"I was hopping that the existence of stupidity would be somewhat reduced here, but it turns out I was wrong." Collecting her head back in its initial straightened position, the rogue allowed her gaze to slip back to the male covered by fibers of agouti and stronger nuances of brown. Maybe a less moronic phrase would escape his jaws.

Mentioned: The trio.

Zyro Mezzi
Zyro watched in a dazed confusion as the female addressed him first. He half-caught the sassy comment about a madhouse, and could only manage a nod in response. The right side of his face was tingling distractingly, the skin feeling as if a million tiny pis had replaced it in a succeeding attempt to drive Zyro out of his mind. Ceviche's presence and words were what ultimately snapped the Royal out of this daze, but even then he could only manage a confused expression at the plump male by his side. He hadn't caught any of the words that were directed at him.

Soon Ceara joined the gang, a wildfire in a small, white body, and Zyro watched on as she dealt with the stranger more forwardly than anyone else had. Zyro took a few dazed steps forward, not liking  her proximity to the stranger, but was shocked at the words he heard. The newblood, she wasn't exactly rude or threatening but the sassy remarks she was spewing certainly didn't sit well with Z regardless. A childish hybrid of pouty anger and confusion painted his face as he took several steps forward now, chirping a small "Ceara," towards the Rezza and gesturing assertively for her to join Ceviche behind him. Zyro wanted the sole attention of the stranger, despite the way her presence had already made something uncomfortable curl in the pit of his gut. The Royal made special effort to catch the eye of the dark female, his dull golden orbs seeking out her more vibrant amber ones. "I'd strongly appreciate if you didn't speak to my pack in that manner," he informed her, voice careful and sure. Zyro might've been losing his mind, but even when insanity sunk it's ugly claws into his sanity his job was still crystal clear: protect. "And stupidity is a relative term... wouldn't you agree?"

His brow rose meaningfully, glancing at her up and down shortly before continuing on in his little speech. "My name's Zyro, and this is my territory, Graywood. My apologies for my odd behaviour. It's come to my attention that I'm not exactly in good health." He watched her reaction to the statement carefully. It was honest, the wound on his temple throbbing as is to punctuate the words, but injured or not Z still found his body swiveling sideways, using his oafish body to create a sort of wall between the stranger and his new-found family. He only half hid the bitterness in his tone, "Now, if you don't mind explaining your business to low-lifes like us, would you please inform me as to why you're here? I've got mouths to feed."

Zyro's stance wavered, him slightly loosing balance in a bout of dizziness. With a too-fast turn of his cranium, he quickly whispered to Ceviche and the rest of the group that could hear him while leaving the stranger on a sassy note for a moment. "The hunt is off. I need a medic and it'd be too dangerous to have you all out here by yourselves," he decided, knowing that if anyone he even remotely cared for got hurt in the valley, that it'd be a stain on his concious forever. "We'll snag some small prey and regroup with the others once we're finished here. I'm sorry," and with that he was once again facing the newblood, giving her his full attention. Although it was clear that Zyro was protective of his pack mates, there was no malice or hostility present in either his words or body language. The golds and browns of his tail had been raised, yes, but he emitted a sort of calm that wasn't even a side-effect of his scrambled brain. He'd treat her the same as he did the rest of the loners who he's met recently, but right now he was just really to get back to the den.

Post by Vorocia Mon Sep 05, 2016 11:55 pm

Vorocia watched as the red and white female turned around and slunk back into the undergrowth, presumably leaving Graywood territory for good. She was slightly surprised. Out of all the wolves that had shown up in the territory this far, the female was the only one that had blatantly decided not to stay. Vorocia stared after the female for a moment before shrugging and turning back around. She took a few paces deeper into the Flatscape and waited impatiently for Zyro and the others to follow suit. She was still itching with desire to spring into the hunt.

However, when more twigs crackling and undergrowth rustling signified the arrival of yet another newcomer, Vorocia felt annoyance surge through her. She whirled around to stare but didn't go to greet this new wolf- she felt like if she did, she'd rip its ears off. She was still annoyed from being interrupted by the first female, and now her hunger was twisting her belly into knots of pain. Waiting was making her antsy. How anything got done around this place with strangers popping up every few minutes, Vorocia had no clue.

As the female proved to be snappy and sarcastic, Vorocia was even more glad she hadn't sped off to play welcoming comittee. In her current state of irritation, she probably would have lunged straight at the black wolf. When Zyro turned away and began to speak up once more, however, Vorocia's ears perked up. She was sure he'd be giving orders to split into seperate hunting parties and they'd finally be able to start the chase- but she was swiftly let down. The leader seemed slightly off balance- Vorocia wondered if that head injurying was still paining him. His words, however, momentarily distracted her from concerns of his well being. "The hunt is off."

Off? A surge of anger rushed through her. Not necessarily at Zyro, but, well, at everything. She'd been looking forward to finally hunting with a pack again- now they'd have to slink back to the den with only a few small bits of prey as compensation. She shot the black, new she-wolf a poisonous look, as if this were all her fault- Vorocia wanted somewhere to direct her anger. Then, she got to her feet and hastily stomped off into the undergrowth. If there was no hunting to be done, Vorocia didn't want to stay here any longer. Besides, her irritation was boiling over and she didn't want to let it snap onto anyone else in the clearing. It wasn't anyone's fault, but hell if pack life wasn't proving to be challenging.

Rezza | Male | 2 1/2 Years

"Tu m’as comme donné l’envie d’être moi, donné un sens à mes pourquoi. Tu as tué la peur qui dormait là, qui dormait là dans mes bras."
OOC ur all worrying him
Wow. Wow this, wolf. Ceviche felt irritation play at the edges of his mind behind the antsy cover of his discomfort towards the she wolf. When she moved towards him though, he didn't move any further behind Zyro. No, he almost went to step forwards and confront her. Why not retreat? Because she seemed like she wished ill-will on his leader, on his new friends. Hell, now she was insulting Ceara- but he was cut off when the royal angled himself between them. Perhaps it was better not to get involved.

he was rather surprised though at Zyro's unbridled peace mongering. Even after she'd called Ceara stupid. If she did come along, he would make sure to get back at her somehow. Maybe he'd snore extra loud and sleep near her or something... Though still it didn't sit right, even though Zyro had told the newcomer not to speak to them like that, Ceviche had to add on. "If you don't like it here, then just leave..." It was as simple as that. I mean, who just showed up and started calling everyone around them stupid? It was rude, really. You just walk up into someone's home and just insult them? That was probably the rudest thing he'd seen anyone do in the last month.

Though, Ceara's comment left him thinking. He couldn't see a resemblance between this newcomer and Agatho- Agahi. They might have been a bit similar looking, but the old man was much nicer than her. Sure he had his flaws, like he talked to a few too many trees, and seemed to get lost too easily; but, Agathor was completely different than this meanie. He whispered back to his pristine companion, "Are you sure?" He shot her a look before he looked a bit harder at the dark pelted she wolf. After a moment he decided that she did seem to have perhaps a few similarities to his friend. He directed his attention half between Ceara and Mini-Agathor for a moment before speaking again hushedly to the former. "I guess, so. But, I don't think Agathor would ever call you stupid."

He caught a glimpse of Zyro's swaying and he moved to speak, but quickly shut his mouth when the alpha turned to him. He nodded understandingly- he really wasn't feeling well, was he? "Can you make it back or do we need to go get someone?" His round features over enunciated his worry as he waited for a reply. If need be, perhaps he and Ceara could bring him back? He tried to judge for a moment about how much Zyro weighed and whether or not he could lift the unwell wolf he he suddenly became unfit to walk on his own.

"Very well, if this pleases all of you." Kamaal agreed with the Royal's request, she might've been an overall pain in someone's back--a prick of sorts, but she'd show respect to another when it was needed. With that in mind, she allowed his second remark to slip away untouched, as if she didn't a pointless quarrel would most likely rise again.

"Zyro", what a bizarre name. It must've been the first time such a name surfaced and entered the doors of her ears, quite peculiar indeed. "Kamaal", the she-wolf responded sharply, tone clear, ears erect and eyes locked on the oddly colored male with a name starting with the letter Z. "Now my business here, hmm... same as yours. The urge to sustain yourself, to keep your batteries going, isn't it obvious?" An inquiry emerged and faded quickly as her attention was drawn to the Blondie once more; she still hadn't responded to his remark, it was about time she did "And they say I'm the bitter one, ouch... I'm heartbroken."

With that now cleared, Kamaal resorted in zeroing in on the Royal for yet another time "Don't worry, I won't bother you for long, I do not wish to stay somewhere where tension is created so easily." Finishing her sentence, she forced her frame to take a U-like spin departing the group of three. "Oh... nearly forgot, there's a freshly dug tunnel just a few yards away from here. Maybe if your feet are fast enough you'd get a hare for a meal." Without even bothering to look at the ones she left behind, Kamaal began to stride towards the 'vein of gold' as some would say, maybe she should've headed that way initially after all.

Zyro Mezzi
Zyro registered somewhere in his subconscious that Vorocia had made her unhappy departure, but he was more focused on the female - Kamaal, she called herself - in front of him. Another feisty one, he thought defeatedly, though Kamaal was unlike any of the other wolves he had met. Besides, of course, how much she looked like Agahi, as Ceara and Cev had pointed out. Her quick wit was something unmatched by the various other loners Z had come in contact with so far. Vorocia and Renegade stood out to him as the more sour of his group, but maybe he'd add her name to the list as well.

When the obsidian and cinnamon colored she-wolf proclaimed that they had the same goals, Zyro found himself already shaking his head, the movement bleeding on as she continued to speak. He let her finish talking before turning to his ex-hunting party. "Start heading off to the den, I'll be right behind you," he ordered, the expression painted across his face a giveaway that his intentions were to stay and talk some more with Kamaal. "And thank you for the concern, Ceviche, but I'll be just fine. I'll holler if I need anyone," he assured, though it was practically a lie. Zyro was putting all of his efforts into standing up straight presently, but he'd figure out how to make the trek home when he was finished with the newblood. Something about her intrigued him, but he couldn't quite pin down what that 'something' was.

With the pack dismissed, Zyro made long strides in order to catch up to Kamaal's retreating form. "You say we have the same business," he started, slightly out of breath due to the efforts of lugging his own oafish body around, "but I think you're mistaken." He watched for any sign of reaction as they continued towards the rabbit hole she'd spoken of. "My business is keeping those wolves you just met alive... to keep anyone in Graywood alive, for that matter. Including yourself." Z shook his head lightly as a throb of white pain flashed across the right side of his face, trying to pointedly ignore the sensation in order to not come off as a 'madman', as she'd put it. He walked in silence for a few more moments while contemplating what to say next. "The tension that you experienced is simply because many of the wolves here were rogues less than 24 hours ago; many of them are still unsure and highly defensive, of themselves and others. Not to mention we haven't eaten in a while, and I just had to call off our hunt because of this recently-aquired beauty," he confided, tilting his head so that Kamaal could view the ugly new scar if she pleased, as if it would explain everything. Zyro half hoped it did, ever self conscious of how others thought of him. His speech was casual and probably a bit more informal than most dominants usually go for when addressing a stranger, but Z always had the habit of being extra friendly to everyone he came in contact with. He found it was easier to discover someone's real intentions based on how they acted around a kind, non-threatening face.

"Anyway, the way I see it I can propose two different things to you, Kamaal. Either I give you directions to get out of Graywood - we can't have you wandering around, the valley can be dangerous - or you can head back to the densite with me and make the upkeep of your 'batteries' my business permanently," the large, earthy-colored male raised a brow at the significantly smaller female, keeping stride with her as they walked. "Can't have you running around with top-secret intel on our rabbit tunnels, now can I?"

"Start heading off to the den, I'll be right behind you- And thank you for the concern, Ceviche, but I'll be just fine. I'll holler if I need anyone."

"Alright." The word fell out, feeling dead. His worry was tightening his throat to the point he couldn't really squeeze out anything else to say. He wanted to protest, to at least have someone accompany the leader so he wouldn't end up hurt somewhere... or worse. But, his mouth only parted slightly to speak up before he decided against it, as he couldn't even form the words. What would he even say? Zyro had enough on his plate right now without his troublemaking, he supposed.

"Come on, Ceara." He trudged off with a mixture of anxiety and disappointment, leaving the royal behind to speak with Mini-Agathor. He didn't so much as even glance at the dark she-wolf again as he went, but amidst his departure decided not to go straight back to the den. Afterall, the hunt was off, yes. But, they would still need food. As it was, they didn't have any. His mind processed everyone's words again in his head and he recalled hearing something about a rabbit den nearby. Once he was safely out of sight he set to sniffing, in a furious attempt to find something to bring back. Sure, he'd been a bit useless to his original pack, but he was determined to at least appear useful. He'd either bring back some food or not go back at all.

His nose was probably the sharpest one he knew, so soon after he shoved his sniffer into the dirt he picked up the musky scent of hare. They weren't too far away. He set to following the smell, each step making his pelt shake in such a way he looked as though he were bouncing along, now that he was dry and his pelt was no longer weighed down by the dampness and rain. Even so, his hard expression could easily argue otherwise as he concentrated heavily on his task, while muttering under his breath.

.:|KAMAAL|:.

I'm not insulting you, I'm describing you.

"Am I mistaken really? Tilting her head, Kamaal slowed her pace seeing that Zyro--if that was indeed his name, was struggling to keep up with her already. "The conclusion is the same, staying alive that's what everyone wants at any cost." The she-wolf added on, a smirk appearing on her lips as if she was toying with the larger individual in a manner only she and those with any signs of brain activity could understand.

Loners, yeah sure everyone was a loner deep down after all, weren't they? Selfish little critters whose only concern was to survive the hazards of nature. They were all the same, colorless pieces of burned oak left to die on the bottom of a raging river. "Bullshit." A flinch to her right ear was evident as a sign of protest--disagreement, disagreement which was kept chained inside of her mind's temple. Rusted chains of scrap metal torturing it non-stop.

A scar, ah yes an injury was what halted her pace. Not surprising, who knew where this came from? Maybe it was from a past quarrel of some sort or it might've been a result of complete stupidity. Stupidity, yes the word made Kamaal cackle under her breath, her cognac orbs rolling back on the male embraced by nuances of agouti and a pair of pale golden eyes. "Your concern, really? The permanent charging of my batteries?" The female turned around now zeroing in closer towards Zyro to the point where they were nose to nose in proximity. "We have a deal then." A sharp gaze arose from her, pumpkin colored orbs staring intensely in the other pair of fainter rusted golden ones.
